Peter Lambert will be among the lecturers at the upcoming CAGE Summer School 2024 at Warwick University. The three-day program, organized by Professor Mirko Draca of the University of Warwick and CAGE Director, focuses on applied social science research tools and methodologies. Other presenters include Arthur Turrell (Bank of England), Eric Melander (University of Birmingham), and Marie Segger (The Economist magazine).
The summer school's curriculum covers several topics relevant to modern economic research. These include professional coding workflows with Github and Python, data management and analysis techniques, digitization of historical data, cloud computing with Amazon Web Services (AWS) or Goole Cloud Platform (GCP), application of Large Language Models in economics research, and data visualization. The program aims to provide participants with practical skills and knowledge applicable to current research practices in economics and related fields.
