The Applied Economics AI (AEAI) Research Lab seeks to advance research in economics using novel Big Data and AI/ML tools. We use our expertise to build large open-access datasets from unconventional sources that help inform academic and policy research on a wide range of topics. We also provide publicly available guides and training for using advanced computational cloud tools and generative AI in economics research. Our lab publishes data insights on our webpage and operates an annual summer fellowship program to train research fellows in cutting-edge methodologies.
